Ugh, I love ST185s. I had a 91 GT in high school and dreamed of swapping a 3SGTE into it.

I’m more of a 205 fan myself but seeing as how the GT-Fours were never sold in America and still 4 to 5 years away from being import eligible into the us I’d settle for a 185

Both the 165s and the 185s are great cars. I like the 185 for nostalgia and the 165 for boxy 80s goodness.

Perhaps I don’t understand the comment, but the st-165 was sold in america starting in ‘88, but if you’re saying the moniker used of ‘gt-four’ of the 205 was not then you’re correct.

That’s what I’m saying. I’m more of a 205 guy but America never got it in the gt4 form with alltrac and a turbo. That’s why I’d gladly take a 185.
